From the courts of Amsterdam to the top of the podium
I was born in Brazil and moved to the Netherlands when I was still very young. After arriving here, squash became a big part of my life through my father, who introduced me to the sport. What started as something fun quickly turned into something much bigger. I fell in love with the speed, intensity, discipline, and constant challenge of the game.
From that moment, I started training seriously. Every year, I pushed myself harder, spent more hours on court, and became more committed to improving every part of my game. Squash taught me discipline, resilience, focus, and the importance of doing the work even when nobody is watching.
Over the years, that work led to some of the biggest achievements of my career so far. I became a 3× Dutch Junior Champion, represented the Dutch National Team, competed internationally, and traveled around the world for tournaments and training. Through those experiences, I had the chance to learn from top coaches, play against strong international players, and understand what high-level squash truly demands.
Those years shaped the way I see the sport. Squash is not only about hitting the ball well. It is about movement, decision-making, discipline, pressure, confidence, tactics, and the ability to keep improving when things get difficult. The best players are not just talented. They are structured, consistent, and willing to work harder than everyone around them.
That is the mindset I bring into my coaching. My goal is to help players improve with purpose. I want every session to have a clear direction, whether we are working on technique, movement, shot quality, match analysis, fitness, or tactical decisions. I do not believe in random drills. I believe in training that actually connects to match performance.
Because of my own journey, I understand what it feels like to be ambitious, to want more from yourself, and to chase a higher level. I also know how valuable good guidance can be. The right correction, the right structure, or the right way of thinking can completely change how a player develops.
Today, I use everything I have learned from competing, traveling, training, and working with top coaches to help other players become better. My mission is simple: to give players the knowledge, structure, and confidence they need to improve faster and compete with more purpose.
